I met Fitrika in the Blog English Club today. Of course this is my first time I met her. We really mean to come to the meeting for good reasons. One is to practice our English for conversation, and the second we want to use it for the writing.
Since she sat next to me, ms Ollie asked the participants to interact with each other and tried to find the best story we could get. As our conversation went along I found out that Fitrika was graduated from Jakarta Teacher's College (UNJ) with majoring in Mathematics. She is married with no children yet.
She worked for 2.5 years at Mandiri Syariah Bank, she's then quit from her job. After being married, she had difficulties in doing her job, because of the long distance commute. So she had no choice, other than quitting from the job.
She then concentrated online shopping business selling hijab, clothes and shoes. She tried to work together with the supplier in Tanah Abang, so she didn't need to have all those things in stock. How lucky she has. Doing business with no money down. I wish I could do the same too.
